| Roles & Responsibilities : | Prefer a systematic candidate with excellent verbal and written communication in English. Coordinate with the Production manager of respective factories to get the Samples (Pilot, Size Set and Shipment Sample) stitched on time. Vendor Management – Select the appropriate vendor (in case the customer does not nominate one) for purchasing fabric and trims based on the vendor evaluation (criteria – delivery, quality) worked out already in discussion & consensus with the Commercial Department. Collaborate with the Sample Coordinator and fabric in charge through Sample Merchandiser to get the Samples on time. Special focus is to be given to importing fabric and trims. Also to new buyers (customers). Coordinate with the commercial department to oversee if the PO for fabric and trims are raised appropriately. Coordinate with production coordinators to ensure that materials arrive at stores on time in full. Interact with the Buyer/Buying Office (Customer) at various stages of production. Push for on-time sample approvals and get timely feedback. Ensure customer requirements are understood and met, and record the reworks/rejections from the Buyer/ Buying Office (Customer). Maintain a smooth relationship with the buyer/ buying office for a continuous flow of business |
